Common issues when signing in and how to resolve them
Sometimes when trying to sign in to your account you're getting an error or you don't see what you expected in your account.
These are the most common issues when signing in:
You're signed in with the wrong account
Wrong email/password error
You have a premium subscription but see a 'free trial' account
And this is how to resolve them:
1. You're signed in with the wrong account
Are you sure you are signed in with the right account?
Often users have signed in with an account that contains a typo (for example '[email protected]') or with the wrong account.
Ensure the one you signed in with is the main account you'll use and that your email address that you included is free of typos. You can see which account is signed in by clicking on your initials in the top right corner.
If you can't sign out, remove the cookies for HeroHunt.ai and sign back in again with the right account (see below at point 3 how to remove your cookies).
2. Wrong email/password error
If you're seeing a notification that you included the wrong email/password you can reset your password by clicking the 'Forgot password' option on the sign in page.
After clicking that and including your email, check your mailbox for the password reset email. If you don't see it in your primary mailbox, also check your spam folder!
Follow the steps in the email to reset your password and sign in again.
3. You have a premium subscription but see a 'free trial' account
The email that you use for the subscription is the account that gets set to premium automatically.
If you don’t see your premium account activated yet (after successful payment), refresh your page.
If you can't sign out because you see the 'Free trial expired' pop up, please do the following:
1. Remove your cookies and refresh the page
2. Then sign in with the account that you used to subscribe with
